Join Audubon Aquarium of the Americas for a Party with the Stars of the Sea

An exclusive appreciation party for Audubon Nature Institute members

Audubon Aquarium of the Americas is throwing a party to thank thousands of its closest friends – members!

Audubon Nature Institute members are invited to SEAlebration, a free party where they will get a peek behind the scenes of their favorite Aquarium. The annual event will be held Thursday, October 12 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, located at 1 Canal Street in New Orleans.

Membership booths will be open the night of SEAlebration, so guests can join right at the entrance and enjoy the festivities.

Rich Toth, Managing Director, Audubon Aquarium and Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium
"This annual party is a big thank you to our members for supporting Audubon's conservation and education programs. We're excited to offer SEAlebration guests special behind-the-scenes opportunities and meet and greets with the incredible animals in our care."
Rich Toth, Managing Director, Audubon Aquarium and Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium

Attendees are invited to talk with divers, meet the penguin keepers, and to take a look at the kitchen where meals are specially prepared for the Aquarium's animals.

The party will feature live music, aquarist chats, fish feedings, animal encounters and visits by Audubon Nature Institute outreach vehicles.

Entomologists from Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium will offer up-close encounters with live bugs and edible insect treats.

Partygoers are invited to a complimentary showing of Toy Story of Terror in the Entergy Giant Screen Theater and will enjoy a 20% discount at the gift shop on select items. Halloween costumes are encouraged!

SEAlebration at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas is complimentary for Audubon Nature Institute members.

The Aquarium will close October 12, 2017 at 3 p.m. and reopen at 4:30 p.m. Membership card and photo ID are required for admission. Guest passes are not accepted at the SEAlebration event.
