Audubon Zoo Nominated in USA Today's 10Best Reader's Choice Awards
(New Orleans) – For the eighth year in a row, Audubon Zoo has been nominated in USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Award contest. An expert panel of travel professionals made the selections for contenders in this contest. Last year, Audubon Zoo ranked as the seventh most popular Zoo in the country.
Voting is easy and is now underway. People can vote once a day to show their support for their Audubon Zoo.
“It’s great to see that our Zoo is consistently considered one of the best in the nation, it’s a real honor for all of us,” said Ron Forman, Audubon Nature Institute President and CEO. “It is especially rewarding for our team who works so hard every day to showcase the amazing animals in our care and educate our guests about how we can all enjoy the wonders of nature. We are deeply grateful for the continued support for Audubon Zoo and its conservation mission.”
All of the nominees for USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards for Top Zoo are accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. In last year’s voting, Audubon Aquarium was ranked the nation’s fifth most popular Aquarium, there is no competition for top Aquarium at this time.
