Visiting the sharks, penguins and butterflies at Audubon Aquarium just got even easier! Starting August 1, 2026 through September 30, 2026, Aquarium guests can get up to three hours of free parking in the nearby Canal Place parking garage.

Before heading the Aquarium, guests just scan the parking code located at the Canal Place parking garage, enter their vehicle and payment information, and take the short stroll over to visit the Aquarium. After interacting with stingrays, watching penguins, sharks, and marveling at the hundreds of butterflies in the butterfly garden, validating parking is as easy as scanning a daily QR code located in the Aquarium to activate three hours of free parking. Regular parking fees apply to anything over three hours.
