Mermaids will Splash into Audubon Aquarium of the Americas

Wands & Wishes Mermaids will splash into Audubon Aquarium of the Americas next month for a pair of four-day sessions: Thursday, November 14, through Sunday, November 17; and Thursday, November 21, through Sunday, November 24.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each of the eight days, mermaids will dive beneath the surface of the Great Maya Reef, which is home to stingrays and tropical fish. Guests can also meet a mermaid up close, have photos taken, and enjoy activities.

“Seeing our guests delight in the mesmerizing performances of the mermaids is always a joy,” says Vice President and Managing Director of Audubon Aquarium of the Americas Rich Toth. “We hope that everyone will support our ocean conservation efforts by visiting the Aquarium and learning what they can do to help.”

In water or on dry land, Wands & Wishes Mermaids are committed to inspiring imagination and care for the sea while providing an interactive underwater performance. The mermaids represent the connection of humans to the sea and are committed to deliver a realistic, memorable mermaid experience for all ages.

Wands & Wishes Mermaids travel worldwide, inspiring more than just imagination— ocean conservation and education are close to their hearts, and they incorporate educational information into each magical visit. Marine animal conservation is extremely important to the mermaids, especially protecting whales, dolphins, and all marine life. Wands & Wishes Mermaids are the only mermaids in the world to swim in silicone tails on specialized air hoses.

Wands & Wishes Mermaids can be seen at the Newport Aquarium, Adventure Aquarium, and OdySea Aquarium Mermaids and now, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas!
