Party for the Planet presented by Entergy at Audubon Louisiana Nature Center

Party for the Planet presented by Entergy is a series of events and activities celebrating the wonders of nature held across New Orleans, March 23 to June 23.

Party for the Planet presented by Entergy: Spring into Action kicks off the series of events at Audubon Louisiana Nature Center on March 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors are invited to participate in imaginative new ways to experience nature through hands-on discovery and interactive experiences that promote environmental awareness.

“We are so excited to kick off this series at Audubon Louisiana Nature Center,” said Isaac Wyatt, the Nature Center’s director of operations. “This event is a great way to raise awareness in the community about the important role the environment plays in everyday life.”

Guests can interact with local environmental exhibitors and take part in fun opportunities to experience nature such as planting trees and a complimentary night sky demonstration in the Planetarium.

Visitors will also learn about family volunteer opportunities taking place throughout the year at Audubon Louisiana Nature Center. Admission to this event is free to the public, and Audubon will be collecting Mardi Gras beads and plastic cups for recycling.

“We are pleased to partner with Audubon Nature Institute again this year on the communitywide celebration of environmental stewardship,” said Toni Green-Brown, public affairs manager at Entergy New Orleans, LLC. “Party for the Planet is an exciting and entertaining way to support Entergy’s ongoing commitment to educating our customers, communities, employees, and owners on matters important to the environment.”
