Sip+Dip Returns to Audubon's Cool Zoo Waterpark
Cool Down at Adults-Only Evening Events
Tickets for the popular Sip+Dip experience at Cool Zoo Waterpark at Audubon Zoo are now on sale and available for a dozen fun-filled, adult evening events throughout the summer. The Sip+Dip events start Friday, May 30, 2025, and take place almost every Friday through August (except July 4th weekend).
Each event has a different theme and gives the grown-ups a chance to relax, enjoy live entertainment, and cruise down the lazy river at this 21+ takeover of the popular waterpark.
General Admissions tickets are $50 per person and allows guests to enter the event at 7:00; Food and beverage are available and can be purchased at Gator Bites in Cool Zoo.
Each night, a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $75, VIP ticket holders can start their evening fun beginning at 6:30 p.m. and their ticket includes a free drink plus access to Oyster Beach with a private bar and exclusive menu options provided by Dickie Brennan and Co. Catering.
If you are coming with your entire krewe, you can rent a Cabana VIP that includes a cabana for the evening, plus early entry at 6:30 p.m. and six VIP tickets for your squad. Cabanas range from $400 to $500 depending on location. Cabana VIPs also get one free drink ticket plus access to Oyster Beach with its private bar and exclusive menu options provided by Dickie Brennan and Co. Catering.
“This year we are adding extra nights to the Sip+Dip events at Cool Zoo Waterpark after so many people enjoyed them last summer. These events are perfect for the 21+ crowd to have a unique evening listening to their favorite music, sip cocktails, and experience Cool Zoo Waterpark after hours,” said Audubon Zoo Senior Vice President Daine Appleberry. “We have multiple themed nights planned so hurry and pick your favorite music, grab your krewe and come indulge in this grown-up oasis at Cool Zoo.”
Sip+Dip events run from 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Attendees must be 21 and over. Tickets are available at www.audubonzoo.com/sip

Cool Zoo Waterpark is a wild and wet splash park and one of the top water parks in New Orleans and a hot spot to cool down at Audubon Zoo. Highlights include jumping waterspouts, a huge alligator water slide, spider monkey soakers, and water-spitting snakes. Gator Run, a 750-foot lazy river with two sandy beaches, lounge chairs, four water cannons, two water curtains, and jumping jets.
