Weeki Wachee Mermaids are Back at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas
November 8 - November 11
The world-famous Weeki Wachee mermaids will splash into Audubon Aquarium of the Americas for a pair of four-day sessions: Thursday, November 1 through Sunday, November 4; and Thursday, November 8 through Sunday, November 11.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each of the eight days, mermaids and pirates will dive beneath the surface of the Great Maya Reef, which is home to stingrays and tropical fish. Each day will kick off with a pirate dive. Guests can also meet a mermaid up-close and have photos taken near the second floor Stingray touchpool as well as enjoy many different new activities.
"We're excited to bring the mermaids back to New Orleans,” says Rich Toth, Managing Director, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. “We hope children will marvel at their performances while being inspired by the marine life and educational opportunities in our Aquarium." Says Toth

Breakfast with the Mermaids, Gulf of Mexico Exhibit | November 10 and November 11 | 8:30am – 10:00am
Members $75.00, Non-members $80.00
Enjoy your breakfast in front of the Gulf of Mexico exhibit at Audubon Aquarium of Americas! Guests will receive exclusive access to meet a mermaid up close during breakfast and each participant will receive an autographed photo of their mermaid. After breakfast (9:45am) guests will have early entry for a free photo with a mermaid. Your breakfast ticket also includes admission to the Aquarium for the day and the Mermaid & Pirate party in the Pisces Room on the second floor of the Aquarium.

Mermaid and Pirate Party, Pisces Room

$5.00 a person, Complimentary admission for parents and guardians accompanied by a child with a ticket. Aquarium admission not included in ticket price.
Enjoy our Pisces Room that overlooks the Mississippi River to create mermaid and pirate themed crafts. Enjoy pirate and mermaid games, an exclusive “Shell-fie Station”, a Sing-a-long with pirate and mermaid songs with a DJ.
