Zoobilation Celebrates Audubon Members

Audubon Members are invited to party like flock stars at ZOObilation, an exclusive appreciation event just for Audubon Members on Thursday, September 21, 2023. This year, the event celebrates the flamboyance of flamingoes that greet guests when they arrive at Audubon Zoo.

ZOObilation is an afternoon of family fun, and it is FREE and open only for Audubon Nature Institute Members. The Members-only afternoon begins at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m.

Members will enjoy after-hours access to Audubon Zoo with activities for all ages, exclusive experiences and special discounts including extra discounts on Zoo concessions, gift shops, and souvenir photo purchases. The popular Swamp Train rides are free during this event, and special animal encounters, feedings, and chats will take place throughout the Zoo. Members will get to tour the animal hospital and commissary and see what goes on behind the scenes to keep Zoo residents healthy and well fed.

All active Audubon Members are invited to ZOObilation. Zoo visitors can become an Audubon Member on the day of the event and be part of the special celebration. To buy or renew an Audubon Membership visit https://members.audubonnatureinstitute.org.

Audubon Members do not need an advanced reservation for this event, they can just show their digital Membership card and photo ID to get in. Taylor Scholars receive free admission and may bring up to two guests with them.

Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome at ZOObilation, there will be live music by Ray’s Islands Sound during the event. No outside food, beverages, coolers, ice-chests, or tents are allowed. Guest passes are not accepted at this event. The Zoo will close at 3:00 p.m. on September 21, 2023, to prepare for ZOObilation.
