Tickets Now on Sale for Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do and Zoo-To-Do For Kids presented by Children’s Hospital

Tickets are now on sale for New Orleans’ most anticipated, fun-filled philanthropic events: Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do and Zoo-To-Do for Kids presented by Children’s Hospital. Tickets to both events are available for purchase by clicking here or by calling the ticket hotline at (504) 861-5107.

The focus of both events will celebrate Audubon’s conservation efforts for giraffes, a signature species of Audubon Zoo and the Alliance for Sustainable Wildlife, Audubon’s conservation breeding partnership with San Diego Zoo Global.

“While our Zoo-To-Do parties offer a wonderful opportunity to have a good time, it’s important to remember that they have a purpose,’’ said Audubon Nature Institute President and CEO Ron Forman.

“This year we are focused on the world’s longest-necked species, and our conservation efforts and partnerships around protecting these majestic—and endangered—animals.’’

Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do, celebrating its 42nd anniversary in 2019, is set for Friday, May 3. General admission begins at 8 p.m., and the party goes until midnight. Hancock Whitney Bank is once again the Title Sponsor for the adults-only black-tie gala event that features an array of high-end cuisine and premium cocktails from local establishments.

The Zemurray Foundation is sponsoring this year’s Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do Tea Room Party for Sponsors, while the New Orleans Pelicans are sponsoring the event’s Patron Party. Admission to these areas begins at 7 p.m., offering access to the gala event as well. Party band The Main Attraction Band will perform on Capital One Bank Stage thanks to the generosity of Headline Entertainment Sponsor Chevron, with Vivaz playing first. Other performers include Ambush near Cooper Plaza and Electric String Quartet at the gala entrance.

Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do guests can take a chance on the 2019 Zoo-To-Do Luxury Vehicle Raffle that features a 2019 Lexus ES350, worth $40,525, generously donated by LEXUS of New Orleans. Tickets are $100 each, and a limit of 1,000 will be sold. One lucky winner—who will be announced from the stage at the event—is guaranteed and the ticket-holder need not be present to win. Raffle chances are sold at the event or may also be purchased through the mail, over the phone by calling (504) 861-5107, and online by clicking here until 5 pm CST on May 2.

This year, the Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do silent auction in partnership with the New Orleans Pelicans will include a work of art by George Dunbar, a New Orleans Pelicans team trip, and a Manchester United game day experience. Courtesy of Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, guests can also take a chance to win a ladies Rolex 31mm Stainless Steel Oyster Perpetual with black dial, valued at $4,950. Chances are $50 each and only 500 chances will be sold. Bidding on the silent auction and the jewelry raffle chances may be purchased online.

The 31st annual Zoo-To-Do for Kids presented by Children’s Hospital will take place a week before Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do on Friday, April 26, with general admission starting at 6 p.m. Live entertainment will be provided by Super Stars Events and Promotions, and guests will enjoy tasty sips and snacks, arcade games, giant inflatables, and arts and crafts. The event ends at 9 p.m.

Audubon is honored to have Carmen L. Duncan chair the 2019 Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do. Carmen is the daughter-in-law of Kitty Duncan, the first ever Chairman of Zoo-To-Do and wife of Audubon Commission President, J. Kelly Duncan. Allison B. Tiller is the chair of the 2019 Zoo-To-Do for Kids presented by Children’s Hospital.
